Does anybody know what's happening with the crumbling AutoSound building at Main and Howard? Building permit in window is dated 5/05, but apprently no work has been done. Building and lot hurt my eyeballs everytime I go by.

TC President Clyde Younger took the bull by the horns at yesterday's TC meeting, passing out fresh copies of Robert's Rules of Order and the TC rules in an attempt to address the shouting matches that have marred recent Town Council Meetings. Taking the bull by the horns, Younger didn't shy away from specifically speaking about longtime councillor Marilyn Devaney, who has been involved in all of the recent dustups on the council in what has become a weekly struggle for control of the meetings. Younger:

It is quite apparent to the general public that not every councillor is abiding by these guidelines...Our honorable councillor and governor's councillor has served on the council since 1982 and on the governor's council since 1999...I have been advised by numerable people that since I do not continually and loudly bang my gavel in ruling the honorable councillor out of order that it reflects an overall weakness in my leadership abilities."
