East Auckland Health & Fitness was first established in June 1988 as World Gym. At the time there were only a couple of smaller fitness centres that have long since gone. The name World Gym has been known internationally as a bodybuilding gym, but since 1990 it has been diversified into general fitness with the inclusion of circuit Training and more extensive cardiovascular equipment. We are not Just 7,000 square feet of free weights, inner sprung circuit training, cardio centre, boxing gym, sauna, sunbed etc... but rather a large and very diverse family, made up of qualified and professional staff & almost 500 active members that share one thing in common: the universal need of being and feeling healthy.
With any large family, budget is important and at East Auckland Health & Fitness we have created a no nonsense fitness facility that is affordable for everyone. Our emphasis is on exercise. Our qualified instructors are here to work with you to set your goals and then help you achieve them. All members have free unlimited access to the instructors and their wealth of knowledge.
