Hi! My name is Susan Gauff. In 2001 I started The Growth Solutions Group based on a strong personal passion: organizations can be aggressively growing, increasingly profitable AND have happy, satisfied and creative workers. It is possible to deal with today's ever-changing global environment without creating stress and burnout in employees.
While serving as Senior Vice President of People & Communications at Sarnoff Corporation, Princeton, NJ, I became increasingly interested in the "employees first" concept. This involves producing better business results by putting employees' needs above all other missions of the organization. If employees are treated well and are excited about their work, all other constituents (customers and others) will be better served. After all, how could a bored, unhappy employee be convincingly service oriented with customers or constituents? On the other hand, investments in employees should always be focused on bottom line results for the organization. HR should not be a “touchy-feely” discipline. It should be a strategic business partner focused on maximizing investments in human capital.
Based on this philosophy,The Growth Solutions Group to help organizations select, retain and motivate star employees. As hiring the right people is the first step toward excellence, the consulting practice immediately developed its Predictive Hiring TM process which incorporates objective discipline in the selection process. Profiling the Stars TM came next as a unique method of benchmarking new hires against existing top performers
