In 1959 my Uncle Ed Yore worked for Lindon's Furniture located on 63rd Street and Maplewood Avenue in Chicago. It wasn't long before Uncle Ed opened his own store at that same location. Always one to consider family first, Ed hired his 16 year old nephew, Bill Grice, to work after school and summers.
