Description

Greyhound Pets of America (GPA) is a National 501(c)3 corporation organized completely by volunteers who are dedicated to finding responsible, loving homes for professional racing Greyhounds who no longer qualify to compete at the racetrack.

Founded in 1996, Greyhound Pets of America/Greater Orlando Chapter (GPAGO) is located in Longwood, Florida. Due to the huge growth of GPAGO, we reorganized in 2003 with a Board of Directors and Officers to handle the extensive responsibilities involved in running GPAGO smoothly.

GPAGO has a home of its own. Our Kennel houses 44 Greyhounds in crates with another 8 in suites. Our Greys are lucky to have two knowledgeable caretakers, coordinated by Joan Harris and staffed by GPAGO volunteers.
