Gretchen, a TOBY and Golden Teddy winner, has been creating teddy bears for years but only has been back in this as a business for about seven years because of the time taken off to stay at home with her children.
During the 'vacation' she was still making bears but only to trade with other artists and because of this has a wonderful collection of fantastic artist bears. Besides holding an office for two terms in PTA and volunteering in the class room, she also served as President and Vice President while on the excutive board of Blue Mountain Heart to Heart a local non-profit HIV/AID's support service organization in Walla Walla and worked on and chaired their fund raising auctions for six years.
In spite of only recently returning to this wonderful bear business, she has been featured in numerous international magazines for her artistry and had a one woman gallery show.
