Steve McVeigh and the staff at Greatland Retrievers have over 15 years of experience training dogs in obedience and retrieving. They offer complete gun dog and hunt test training programs and have training groups for the person who wants a pro's help but would like to train their own dog.
Training young retrievers is a specialty at Greatland Retrievers. A great deal of time is spent teaching marking concepts and training is conducted six days a week. Force fetching for hunting dogs and individual collar condition clinics are offered. For hunting, field trials or NAHRA, they train only retrievers, but for obedience, they train any breed.
A loving atmosphere, regular exercise and proper nutrition along with a regimented program of training and obedience are the heart of our success.
