Of course, I also believe we need to give back some of what we get out of the outdoors. You'll find bass biology, conservation and legislation issues covered on GreatLakesBass.com . I've been involved in outdoor issues, such as changing our bass season, for over 20 years. I was the Michigan BASS federation conservation director for over 10 years. Now I'm involved in getting our new The Bass Federation of Michigan (a TBF-affiliate) going, and hope to hold the same position for this new organization so I can continue to work on the important issues.

We're spoiled in Michigan. I haven't seen anywhere yet surpass the quality and quantity of bass fishing we have day in and day out. With literally thousands of fantastic fishing holes, large and small, it's hard to pick just a few, but here are my present favorites:
