The purpose of this site is to rediscover, treasure, preserve, celebrate, and share the rich history of the two Marriott's GREAT AMERICA parks: Gurnee and Santa Clara.
Open during construction
My original intentions were to carefully plan and fully develop this site in advance of a grand-opening launch. Too many competing priorities forced me to realize that it would never happen that way. Therefore, I am happy to welcome you to the "soft opening" of the site, while it is just starting to take shape. This way, you can watch the site as it develops and help steer the course of that development with your feedback.
