About GoAbroad Foundation
Jason Coppage and Troy Peden founded GoAbroad.com over a decade ago. GoAbroad.com has become the leading resource for meaningful travel on the internet. Neither one of them were interested in getting rich in this venture. The initial objective was to connect well-intentioned prospective travelers with life changing international education and experiential opportunities abroad. Though neither one of the founders came from an advertising or business background they have benefited from the success of a resource which boasts a half million visitors each month.
The success of GoAbroad.com has allowed Jason and Troy to do the things they want to do. Recently the two have formalized their commitment to meaningful projects around the world through the creation of the GoAbroad Foundation.
“We have always been committed to giving and supporting meaningful projects not just in name but with real world support. The foundation allows us to make small changes in specific projects. We can witness the impact with our own eyes and its very fulfilling.” – Troy Peden
“We have been successful because of like minded travelers. The foundation has allowed us to return the benefit to some projects, the projects in turn have impacted the lives of people around the world. It is a great reward of working in this field!” – Jason Coppage
