GLOTTER is a Google(TM) Maps sharing website which allows users to create custom World maps with placemarks.
All World maps are classified in different categories like travel, knowledge, leisure, sports, useful services. myGLOTTER is a non-public section for private entries.
Street View 360° panoramas, YouTube videos and Picasa slideshows can be easily added to the entries.
The placemarks are distributed as KML-files and can be viewed in different third-party applications like Google Maps, Google Earth, Windows Live Maps. Furthermore Google Mapplets and iGoogle Gadgets are generated and can be stored in Google Maps and in the personal iGoogle Homepage.
A really nice feature is the ability of embedding maps in the own website through cutting and pasting a small piece of code.
