GlassyLady is a privately owned stained glass studio specializing in small inspirational gift items for home and garden and kiln fired jewelry for those who enjoy unique adornments. The owner/artisan is Deborah Spence.
A musician by training, complete with a Master's Degree, Deborah worked for over 15 years in the church music field as a performer, teacher and music director. While seeking other avenues and outlets for her creative energies, she was introduced to and trained in various stained glass techniques. This eventually led to the creation of Glassy Lady in the late 1990's. Her passion for glass became her full time occupation, but her training in church music naturally influenced her stained glass art in the form of framed Bible verses. And after playing for numerous weddings in various churches and settings, she was uniquely qualified to compile a useful list of wedding Bible verses for couples planning their big day. Many of these verses, as well as wedding invitations, can be custom framed in stained glass.
