I love them! I actually look forward to my periods. I feel closer to nature and less artificial when I'm using them. The soaking and washing doesn't bother me, as I don't use disposable paper products at all. My laundry is full of towels, handkerchiefs, and cloth napkins. What's one more thing? I don't even wash them separately. I'll throw them in with anything. Even my whites! I feel so much better about myself as a woman and about my periods. Thanks for responding to my letter! I chose cotton pads over disposables for many reasons... 1) I think of all the dirty pads I've thrown out and get sick 2) They are much nicer against skin than chemically-treated cotton and plastic and 3) This may sound weird, but I get a very peaceful feeling when I use the same pads month after month...kind of like a sort of bond between me, my cycle, and my trusty pads I've been with for two years now!!
