- Our family of 10 works side by side making all of our hand-crafted products. From the oldest to the youngest there is plenty of work to be found to keep those idle hands busy. When doing our open markets or craft adventures we often let the young ones handle the cash and interact with the customers. We have chosen to homeschool our children and this lends greatly to their interaction with others, mathematics, manners, and sometimes stamina as our booth gets busy at times! We have written a small article on the History of Soap that was printed in one of the papers that is circulated throughout our "bush" communities here in Alaska.
