- Pastors were married in December 1973, and immediately became involved in church. Both taught children, young people and adults Sunday schools in the Assemblies of God and Southern Baptist denominations. Both were involved with missions, i.e. Youth with a Mission and Feeding the Poor programs. Pastor Knight served as a Deacon and Lay Minister in the Assemblies of God and later in the Southern Baptist denomination, and Pastor Becky was heavily involved with Women's Aglow and various women's groups. Both Pastors were baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1975, and were still supportive of their Southern Baptist denominational Pastor.
