Description
Braiden International Ltd was incorporated in New Zealand in 2002 and is a private family company. This company was formerly Braiden Enterprises Limited which was founded in 1990 by Sue and John Braiden.
John designed and built the first hydraulic wheelchair lift in 1990 and marketed it under the trade name Gentle Giant™. Along the way there were many apparatus designed and constructed to provide mobility for Sue and John's eldest daughter Jessica who is physically disabled.
Over the ensuing years, Braiden International Limited have become one of the leaders in specialist vehicle adaptation and modification for the disabled in New Zealand.
