Geneva Gifts was established in the 1950's. It slowly evolved from a simple souvenir store into a souvenir and gift store. In 1976, Don and Marilyn Ketchpaw purchased the store from its original owner. Their daughter Melissa began working beside her parents at the young age of 13. In 1989, Melissa and her husband Michael purchased the store from her parents. The store by now had grown into many more areas of the gift industry. One of the biggest additions, was the remodeling of the store to make way for a kitchen to make homemade cream and butter fudge.
Fast forward to the year 2001, Melissa can still be found behind the counter helping the customers just as she did 25 years ago. She and her staff are still making the wonderful homemade fudge that Geneva Gifts is now known for. Customers come back several times a year just for the best fudge in town. Now you can get the same great fudge as our customers have been by simply ordering through our web-site. It's simple and fast.
Geneva Gifts has remained much the same as it was 25 years ago, but it has also changed a lot. Most noticeably gone are the souvenir T-shirts, but many beautiful collectibles and gifts have been added to take their place. One line that has remained in the store since almost the beginning is the Minnetonka Moccasin line. Minnetonka Moccasins are the best moccasins around and are available through the store, by mail-order catalog, or here through our web-site.
