It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of wooden sheds. After all, if you're going to build it yourself, wood's likely to be your only choice for a small backyard structure. If you're not comfortable with starting from scratch, you can always choose a nice shed kit to help make the project easier and the finished wooden shed all that more handsome. All in all, shed building projects are a great way to hone your skills for bigger carpentry tasks around the house. (Or when you're ready to build that beach house in the Hamptons ...)
