About This Site
I created this site because I really love South Padre Island. I have lived here since 1985 and have no plans to leave. Ever. I travel a lot and I think I have a pretty good idea of what people are looking for when they research a travel destination on the web -- and I am doing my best to provide the most useful information I can in a pleasing format.
If you find this site useful or interesting, there are three (3!) relatively painless ways you can support it -- and help keep me motivated.
1. Book a hotel room, condo, flight or rental car from the rates links on this page or from the Expedia link below. Every time you book something online, someone gets a commission (paid by the hotel/motel/condo.) I think you should get something back for bestowing your commission upon a web-site owner, so I try very hard to "earn" commissions by providing lots of useful and easily accessible information on my SPI sites. Those commissions help keep me motivated - so if you plan to book online anyway, I would really appreciate your booking here - you won't find any better rates on the web!
