Description
The GBCY TIDE Swim Team believes in promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership and determination while striving to enhance all swimmers spirit, mind and body. The Tide Swim Team strongly believes that each athlete deserves an equal opportunity at instruction. We also realize that the single most important goal is that the sport is fun and enjoyable and always encourages all participants to accomplish their personal best.
Assistant Aquatic Director and Head Swim Coach of the TIDE Swim Team has a 15 year competitive swimming career as a swimmer for a USA Swim Team on Long Island, and was a 4 year varsity swimmer at Drew University in Madison, NJ. She has 2 years competitive coaching experience as an assistant coach at Bucknell University, a Division I school in Pennsylvania and was a coach for the 2001 Stanford International Swim Camp. This is her second year with the TIDE Swim Team.
