Description

About Ga-Vehren Engineering

Ga-Vehren was founded in 1966 to provide mechanical enhancements and productivity improvements for those involved in envelope, print and direct mail production. Early designs were in high-speed, rotary vacuum-folding, and paper transport. Additional projects led to edge gumming equipment and the world’s dominant, offline envelope latex- gumming machine called The Gum Master™, marketed by W & D Machinery of Overland Park, Kansas USA.

In the 1970's, Ga-Vehren engineered and built web finishing systems for the business forms industry who required high speed, precise machines for attaching plastic cards and other paper documents to continuous paper. Subsequent requests involved the need to affix almost any item onto a sheet, signature, brochure, letterhead, envelope, direct mail package, or folding carton. This created a focus in sheet finishing for an ever expanding print and packaging industry.

Manufacturing has been headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri USA since Ga-Vehren's founding. Sales are handled out of St. Louis for most North American customers. Exclusive Distributors are in place in strategic international cities around the world. Click here to view a map of all of our locations. In 2006 Ga-Vehren was purchased by Datacard Group of Minnetonka, MN. Some of the Ga-vehren equipment is currently in production.
