Gamescrap - Bringing you the WORST in gaming

Description

Excerpted from the website description:

Since 2007, Gamescrap has brought you the the worst video games, game commercials, game merchandise, and gaming moments ever to grace the industry.

Additional Information

Gamescrap is run by Brad Hicks (aka Dr. Swank) who originally ran SwankWorld.com from March 2004-December 2006. The site was intended to be a side project, but has since grown into a labor of love.

Gamescrap was orginally slated to open in May 2005, however, the demands brought upon by SwankWorld and a move to Redmond, Washington delayed the launch by two years. Gamescrap finally launched on May 11th, 2007.

The site not only reviews bad games, it also reviews horrible merchandise, questionable marketing tactics, really bad hardware, strange and weird games, and knockoff consoles.

Gamescrap draws its influence from RD Reynolds' Wrestlecrap.com which Dr. Swank has visited regularly for the last eight years.

First site on the internet to fully review all of the games on the Action 52 cart for the NES. Swords and Monsters developer Triple A Studios posted Gamescrap's "Ten Bad Community Games" article on the front page of their site after discovering they got the #1 spot in the countdown. Triple A Studios worded it as if it were an honor.

When asked for an interview on the site, Triple A declined saying that if they make one more failure they might be up for it.

People are normally confused with how to pronounce the name. Is it game scrap or games crap?

On 11/10/2008 Dr. Swank, with aid of theJuice from OrangeAction.com, set out to post a weekly review of every game from the infamous Action 52 for the NES. Cheetahmen, game #52, was finally posted on 5/13/2010. This collection of articles, aside from the Cheetahmen Corner, is the most comprehensive look at all 52 games on the cartridge.
