Excerpted from the website:

So Who Is Mr. Tee And Why Is He So Furious?

Well, FuriousTees.com was actually started by an inquisitive young man whose nickname since childhood was “Trouble with a capital T.”

Despite the fact that his given name was actually Trevor, he gained this unseemly moniker from his maternal grandmother, who noticed at an early age that he had a tendency toward getting himself into particularly messy situations.

Like the time he painted his house walls with yogurt.

Or the time he played tick tack toe on the suede couch with permanent black marker.

Yes, Trevor earned his degree Summa Cum Laude in “Trouble" during his toddler years, only to later perfect new ways to unintentionally infuriate and annoy people in his more formative middle school years.

A curious kid by nature, Trouble wasn't the most popular boy in school. His reputation for asking stupid questions in class became legendary, and soon he became the butt of many jokes.

Not that his questions actually were silly. In fact, many of them were thoughtful and downright epistemological for a teenager. But most of his peers just found them annoying.

“Hey Tee,” his schoolmates would say (apparently the word “trouble” had too many syllables for his lazy-with-words classmates who quickly edited and shorted his name to just“Tee”),

“Why do you always ask questions like 'Why is the sky blue?' Can't you just accept the fact that it is?”

This was a recurring theme in Tee's life. It seemed that every time he questioned another person's expertise or knowledge about a subject, he was ostracized for being “too irritating.”

This eventually made Tee mad. Furious, in fact.

So by his college years, the now Furious Tee started to withdraw from society, finding comfort in the great works of Philosophy.

Philosophers, you see, asked all the big questions...and they weren't afraid to suffer the consequences of their curiosity. Furious Tee really admired that.

In fact, it was Socrates' story that inspired him the most. When Furious Tee learned that this ancient philosopher was actually executed in his day for simply being a gadfly who upset the status quo by posing questions, he committed himself to the idea of building a safe place where knowledge can be sought freely and without suffering.

That place is called FuriousTees.com.

Today, Furious Tee isn't mad anymore, because the Socratic method of gaining knowledge through asking questions is alive and well.

So please enjoy this community and make it your own.

And remember, there are no dumb questions, just dumb people who pretend to know the answers.
