Free.The.Media is a convergence of artists, activists and technnologists working collectively to create autonomous self- sustainable infrastructures and open source software tools that enbale access and the free exchange of information in the digital world.
Free.The.Media creates a platform for the open exchange and exploration of ideas and issues of social importance through live events, workshops and online interactions between major thinkers and practitioners from diverse backgrounds, toward a synthesis of ideas and experience that will lead to a greater understanding of our roles in contemporary society.
Free.The.Media is a non-profit, artist run membership based organization funded primarily by its members, who collectively participate in shaping the principles of the social space of their mutually supported public network.
