Description
Fraserway RV Centre Ltd. is Canada's largest recreational vehicle dealer in sales, parts, service, and rentals. Founder, Erdman Epp, entered the RV industry in 1969. In search of new and exciting business opportunities, he purchased the manufacturer of Slumber Queen campers in Abbotsford, BC. Their operation manufactured and sold custom-made campers and truck campers.
1970’s - Expansion on its Abbotsford site required Fraserway to take over the lease of a neighbouring fast food restaurant in the early 1970’s. After a brief foray into burgers, the Epps recognized that this distracted them from their goals for Fraserway. They shut down the restaurant and focused on growing Fraserway.
1980’s - Fraserway passed from one generation to the next. Son, Chris, took on the newly acquired manufacturing division of Trav-L-Mate, while son, James, took responsibility for the Fraserway operation. After five expansions at the Abbotsford site, it was clear that more room was necessary. In 1987, Fraserway started construction on its current four-acre site.
