P Forker Contractors Ltd was established by Paddy Forker in 1972 and soon established a reputation for problem solving, innovation, quality and a ‘can do’ attitude. The company worked mainly in the West Midlands for Local and Metropolitan Councils as well as Severn Trent Water, specialising in main drainage, sewerage, tunnelling and timber headings. In 1988 the company took over Midland Grouting & Drilling Co Ltd, a specialist drilling and grouting contractor, as part of targeted expansion and ability to offer a greater range of services.
Today Forkers Ltd is as a £25m turn over multi-disciplinary Civil & Ground Engineering Contractor offering a comprehensive construction service to public and private sector clients.
Based in West Bromwich, West Midlands, the company operates from a 10 hectare site which contains head office, plant yard, transport depot, workshops, fabrication, paint shop and storage facilities. Our proximity to the M5/M6/M42 motorway network has enabled us to support the expansion of our operations into most areas of the UK.
