Description
American Family Credit Counseling is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) non-profit public service that provides assistance to consumers with credit related problems. AFCC offers credit education, budget counseling, and debt management plans that make it easier for consumers to repay their credit obligations. AFCC is regulated by the Arizona State Banking Department, which oversees all credit-related institutions that are incorporated in the state of Arizona. AFCC maintains the maximum bond required by law, thereby protecting all its' clients against theft, fraud or defalcation.
Since its inception in 1993, American Family Credit Counseling has provided comprehensive and flexible credit help to thousands of families in need and provides this service to individuals and families from coast to coast. AFCC is also a member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau of Central/Northern Arizona .
While the initial focus of the service centers on providing immediate relief from the intense pressures that excessive indebtedness creates, AFCC's objective is to build long range financial security by providing advice and guidance in all credit related matters. By acting as a neutral go between, AFCC can eliminate collection activity, reduce payments and interest, re-establish good credit and help restore a degree of normalcy to households caught in the nightmare of financial distress. This is done while insuring the eventual repayment of debt.
