About FoamPolystyrene.com

Expanded polystyrene, also known as EPS, consists of a mixture of 90-95% polystyrene and 5-10% gaseous agent, generally pentan or carbon dioxide. The plastic that forms expands into foam after being exposed to some form of heat, which is typically steam heat. Machines use pre-cut wires and molds vaporize expanded polystyrene foam. This allows the foam to be cut in a variety of styles, from straight edges and linear shapes to curves and circular or asymmetrical shapes.
