Flying Start was founded by Managing Director, Ricky Nixon in 1994, after a successful career as a professional footballer in the Australian Football League (AFL) with the Carlton, St Kilda and Hawthorn Football Clubs. Nixon's vision helped create a sports business that in the following years established itself as Australia 's leading football management agency.
