Housatonic Meadows Fly Shop is a full service fly shop and home of Tightline Adventures Guide Service. It's located on Route 7 directly across from the Housatonic Meadows State Park & Picnic Area.
As a full line Orvis dealer, Housatonic Meadows carries a complete line of quality tackle, clothing and gifts. As an Orvis endorsed guide service, Tightline Adventures offers either half day or full day fly fishing trips as well as group or private fly fishing and fly tying instruction for both the advanced and novice enthusiast. For groups or corporate outings we will make arrangements for your lodging and fishing as well as suggestions to our many fine area restaurants. For the non-fishing guest there are many additional activities such as canoeing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, mountain biking and antiquing. Route 7 is the corridor to the heart of the antique district.
