All our products are handmade under strict sanitary conditions in our home. Pure ingredients are used, and all products are tested by myself, my family and friends before selling.
Our Homemade Soaps are felt to be superior to store-bought bars, as homemade soap using the cold-process method produces natural glycerin. Store bought bars aren't usually soap at all, but detergents. The natural glycerin is removed from their soaps by a chemical process and re-introduced into other products, such as lotions, cake icing, etc. Glycerin is a powerful humectant that draws water to itself, thus it keeps your skin moist. Our soaps are also super-fatted to give you a creamy lather that will help protect your skin from the drying elements of nature.
Our Creams and Lotions are made to feel light and refreshing...not greasy. Emu oil is used in many of our ingredients. This oil is special in that it claims to have certain healing powers. I cannot, however, claim that here, as my products are cosmetic in nature, not medicinal. It may interest you to read some information I found on the web about it. The site is About Emu Oil. You can find it at: www.aea-emu.org. Some of our products also have Shea Butter as an ingredient. Shea butter is manufactured by squeezing the oils out of a nut from the Karite Tree which grows in Africa. Native African tribes used this Shea Butter to protect their skin from the harsh effects of the hot sun. We use it today to keep our skin moist and supple. If you are allergic to nuts or nut products, please do not use any of our products containing shea butter. Some of our products contain MSM. MSM is touted to be an effective relief of arthritis pain. I urge you to read about MSM by doing a computer search for MSM. Then come back here to buy it, because you probably won't find it lower priced anywhere else.
