Floodlight has been helping Londoners to find courses since 1936. It is London's official guide to courses, having been set up by the Boroughs to promote learning options available to adult Londoners. Since 2000 it has been possible to not only buy the well-known guide in London's newsagents, but search the database of over 40,000 courses online.
The range of courses is vast, from aromatherapy to zoology. It covers courses for fun, courses for developing new skills, courses for the workplace and courses that are just there for the sake of learning something new.
We have recently redesigned the website to make it more user friendly. You can search the site by keyword of the subject that you want to study, by all courses available in the borough that you live or work in, or by institution if you already know where you want to study. All you need to do is put in your requirements and away you go....
