Description
First they teamed up for tennis tournaments, now they are business partners. Mary and Pam of Bennington have always enjoyed athletics, but these days they are putting their energy into helping other women get into shape.
The two of them opened a 30-minute workout center for women. It is the first of the Mississippi-based program to locate in Nebraska. They found a building as close to Bennington as they could, at 156th and Blondo Streets, and so far, about half their members are from Bennington.
Mary once taught tennis and she and Pam ran the Bennington Daze tennis tournament for several years. They also won a gold medal in the Cornhusker State Games. The two of them became acquainted through their sons.
