February 11, 2006 :: The holidays are over and the snow will be melting soon, which means we'll be unwrapping the boats and getting ready for another season out on the water. As we refreshed the web site over the winter, we thought about the popularity of angling and how freshwater fishing is one of North America's most popular participation sports. It's so popular for many reasons. In addition to the anticipation and thrill of hooking a trophy fish, angling provides the opportunity for the competitive and casual angler to simply relax and enjoy the outdoors.
