About
First Church Seventh-day Adventists is a community of believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In continuity with the people of God in Old Testament times, we are called out from the world; and we join together for worship, for fellowship, for instruction in the Word, for the celebration of the Lord's Supper, for service to all mankind, and for the worldwide proclamation of the gospel.
In faithfulness to our mission, we come in worship and leave to serve. Wholistic ministry is our vision as we strive to emulate the command of Jesus to help the "least of these." Our aim is to be a lighthouse to our community. In communion with the Father, Jesus our Savior and Elder Brother, and the Holy Spirit, as our Comforter, we can do all things.
In addition to our aim, our goal is to positively affect the quality of life of our members and visitors in such a way that when we appear before the judgment bar, our Savior and Judge will be so satisfied with our stewardship that He will say to us "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
