Finnriver Farm: U-Pick Strawberries and Blueberries
Description
We are two families, in our 30's, with young children. We bring to farming a diverse set of backgrounds and interests. For example, we have been or are currently: teachers, artisan cheese makers, musicians, writers and poets, outdoor enthusiasts, builders, biodiesel retailers, farmers, parents, etc. As a farm we primarily raise blueberries and nursery stock. We also grow an assortment of other berry crops, a mixed vegetable garden, apple orchard, ginseng, bees, chickens, and a couple goats. We sell our goods at our U-Pick, at the thriving Port Townsend Farmer's Market, the Food CO-OP, and various local retail outlets.
