Hi, my name is Omar, and I am the administrator of this site. FM is dedicated to analyzing why we suffer and tolerate filth. The term filth, for the purposes of this site, encompasses everything from grime and litter to industrial-grade pollution. The goal of FM is to draw attention to examples of filth in the hope that we can make our surroundings more livable.
FilthyMess is based in New York, and therefore our content tends to be New York-centric. If we get enough interest and material, we would be happy to launch FM pages for other locations.
