Fimetrics Systems Ltd was founded in 1991 as a software development enterprise concentrating on personal financial planning. The product which evolved came from an early attempt to understand the RRIF/RRSP as it behaved over time. The name RRIFmetic ('sounds like arithmetic') has been kept even as the product outgrew its origins.
