Feathered Frequency Inc.

First we started with the concept that we didn't want to just make another call like what was currently on the market. Instead, we wanted to try and utilize some new technologies available to create a call that was revolutionary and anything but ordinary. We set out to make the ultimate duck call.

A call that would have machined treads and a surface to surface fit so no gaskets or O-rings were needed. This would insure that the reed board could not be moved from a fixed position and would produce the same results every time. A call that wouldn't fade, crack, or scratch easily. Basically we were looking for indestructible. That's right, we wanted to make a call that not only looks and sounds unbelievable, but it would also last forever. None of these qualities were negotiable.

So we created a prototype drawing and hired several highly skilled machinist and tool makers with vast years of experience. They work with some of the newest and most precise equipment available. This landed us with a pattern, but we needed a sound to go with it. So we did a little research and found that there were so many sound boards produced over the last 100 years that we would have to go back to the beginning. So we enlisted the help of professional call makers that were currently making calls. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of information this would yield us. They were willing to not only offer suggestions, but would also take hands on interest in this project.
