Yesterday I went on another Otisa tour, this time to Agua Azul, Misol-Ha, and Palenque. The van arrived at the house promptly at 6:15 a.m. and the driver, Gabriel, opened the passenger door and told me to hop in. (Actually, he said, "Sube! Sube!") I assumed that I got to ride in the front because the back was already packed with other passengers, but when I turned around to sum up the cargo, there were only four people and at least 10 empty seats.
