FatedChildren.net is part of a community that broke away from it's original parent Community, http://www.adventchildren.net after the forums were shut down.
At first we had no funds and so had to rely on free web hosts temporarily until we could afford to buy our own domain and our own forums. A few days before this happened however, our forums on the free host were shut down for excessive bandwidth usage, and the only database backup we had was faulty, and so we had to start again completely from scratch.
Three members of the original Fated Children group, Luna Lovegood (AKA, Istvan Kovacs) and Russell, FCs longest standing member and team leader to date, put together the money to buy the fatedchildren.net domain and Lilo, a relative newcomer to the group, bought a copy of vBulletin to run the forums on.
Since opening a little under a month ago, Fated Children Forums has gone from strength to strength, with 118 members joining up in the first month or so and over 18,000 posts (Already over half of what Turds of Ivory has got over on http://forums.videogamechat.net in the last year.)
