Rosie grew up with parents in the fashion industry and started sewing on an industrial sewing machine while in the first grade. As an adult, she studied patternmaking first, then received a degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
Rosie is always thinking about new dolls and doll creations. She says it is more fun than work. Rosie loves it all, from her childlike cloth doll designs to her Glitzy Fashion Doll Creations. She loves to teach others to achieve their doll fantasies too, so she wrote "Pattern Designing For Dolls".
