- Vancouver - On September 17, 2007, the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) and Canadian Students for Darfur will co-host their press conference as part of the Global Human Rights Torch Relay campaign. The first flame of the Human Rights Torch Relay was lit in Athens on August 9 and so far has been overwhelmingly well received by athletes and citizens of Greece, Germany, Czech Republic, Romania, Austria, Slovakia, and Switzerland. With the message that "the Olympics and Crimes against Humanity Cannot Co-exist in China” and through a series of relay activities, CIPFG calls on the international community to boycott the Olympics in Beijing as long as the persecution of Falun Gong continues.
