Title

Faceup.ie - A Magazine for Teens Who Want Something Deeper

Description

FaceUp.ie is the online presence of the monthly magazine Face Up, which is published by Redemptorist Publications. Face Up began publishing in January 2001 and is aimed at the 14-18 year-old age group and has the sub-title "For Teens Who Want Something Deeper".

Redemptorist Publications was founded by the Redemptorists of the Irish province in November 1936 with the first edition of The Redemptorist Record. Over the years, the Record grew into one of the principal Catholic magazines in Ireland. In 1966, in the wake of the Second Vatican Council and of the changes then taking place in the Irish Church, its name was changed to Reality. The magazine's sub- title "Tackling real issues facing today's Christians" sums up its aims and objectives, and explains why Reality is considered to be one of the most thoughtful and provocative Catholic magazines of its kind in Ireland today.

In 1997 Redemptorist Publications, Ireland expanded its range of products to include weekly pastoral resources and books for parishes. These include an Irish edition of the Sunday Bulletin Mass leaflet and of Look, the weekly leaflet for children, as well as Sunday Message, the only A3 size Mass leaflet published in Ireland. Books include Irish editions of Your Baby's Baptism, Your Wedding, Let's Go To Mass, and A Celebration of Life - When A Loved One Dies, a resource book for those who have lost a loved one.
