Description
I am a person in recovery, although you wouldn't know it if you were to observe my typical morning yoga practice. Even though my practice might be considered by the casual observer as "advanced," it's nothing like it used to be.
As a life-long student of yoga, I continue to study anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology in my quest to better understand how yoga works best in our Western culture and within a Western body. In addition to my yoga practice and teaching, I became a certified and licensed neuromuscular therapist, integrating my understanding of bodywork into my yoga practice and teaching.
I studied directly with several world renowned yoga masters along with many of their senior students throughout North America, Europe, and India...and after nearly 30 years of study, I have become recognized as an advanced practitioner and teacher in my own right.
