Expatriate Tax Solutions was formed in 1999 with the aim of providing a quality service to clients in the specialist area of UK expatriate taxation. In 2001, the firm became a member of the Global Tax Network, an alliance of expatriate tax firms, extending the ability to provide advice in both home and host country locations.
We have numerous years of specialist experience gained within Big 4 international accountancy firms and the Inland Revenue, advising UK nationals abroad and foreign nationals in the UK in both tax and social security issues. Our staff also include members of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the UK's leading professional tax body.
Richard co-founded Expatriate Tax Solutions Ltd in 1999, having previously spent several years at the London offices of PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG advising both small and multinational companies on expatriate tax planning and compliance issues. Richard also spent two years as a Management Consultant at Watson Wyatt Partners, advising on international HR issues and the implementation of tax efficient global stock plans, and three years within the finance department of IBM UK Limited. Richard has a BSc Honours Degree from the London School of Economics and qualified as a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians in 1995 and the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1999.
