Exciting Windows! by Verticals Etc is a full service provider and installer of a wide variety of window treatments, including window blinds, shades, shutters and window coverings. Verticals Etc is part of a national network of dedicated window covering retailers called Exciting Windows and as such they have a team of some of the most highly trained and expert professionals in the industry. The Exciting Windows team has the ability to offer complete window installation and treatment service, from selecting the best and the most suitable kind of window treatments for your home, to taking measurements, and finally, helping with the purchase as well as the actual installation. Currently the company primarily offers its services within New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts, but projects have been completed at much greater distances.
Company History
Verticals Etc started in 1993 as a factory outlet, specializing in vertical blinds. It quickly established a reputation for providing high quality, professionally installed window coverings. In 2003, Ed Hopkins purchased the company and started focusing on building a team of highly trained staff as well as increasing both the quality and the range of the products offered. In 2004, Ed was able to strike a deal with Exciting Windows which allowed the Verticals Etc staff to become one of the most highly trained teams in the industry. Collaborating with Exciting Windows not only provided the highest caliber training but offered valuable advertising and purchasing support, allowing Verticals Etc to reach national retailers. Declaring high quality customer service the cornerstone of all its dealings, Verticals Etc has already earned the respect and satisfaction of hundreds of their clients throughout New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.
The Team
Since 2003, the Exciting Windows team has been headed by Ed Hopkins, who is a National Director of the Window Covering Association of America and who also served as Chairman of the National Advisory Board of Exciting Windows. Assisting Ed is Mary Ellen O'Donnell, who coordinates with the clients and advises them of the most appropriate window treatments for their homes. As a young adult, Mary Ellen spent a considerable amount of time helping her father in his role as a custom drapery manager for Anton's of Massachusetts, lending her extensive and excessively valuable experience. Rita Collins who has a background of organizational and office management works as the Office Manager; Derrick Paterson and Guy Larivee are the installers extraordinaire whose combined expertise spans over twenty tears.
