EVT currently occupies a facility fully capable of all aspects of design, testing, manufacture, sales, and customer service, located at its worldwide headquarters in Skokie, Illinois.
One of EVT’s most noteworthy technological developments has been its patented electric motor and parallel electric control system. For the bicycle application, the motor was adapted to a unique bicycle rear hub that is controlled by EVT’s proprietary electric control system. EVT designs all its parallel electronics in-house, in order to appropriately control and maximize the unique characteristics of its motor and the system’s overall design parameters. By designing its own patented motor and power control system, EVT’s vehicles exhibit flawless performance, tremendous efficiency, and unparalleled reliability. Incorporating this system into specially modified and completely original vehicle designs, created using 3-D modeling and finite element analysis tools, make EVT’s vehicles stand above any current market offerings today.
EVT is currently using the newest battery technologies and is likewise at the forefront of emerging power storage systems. All EVT vehicles employ either Nickel Zinc or Nickel Metal Hydride batteries. In keeping with its dedication to innovation, EVT will design vehicles with modular inputs that incorporate the latest methods in alternative energy generation. For example, users will have the ability to mount and connect a solar power module and a hydrogen fuel cell directly into EVT’s larger vehicles like its ATV. It is widely accepted that fuel cells will eventually replace the need for the internal combustion engine and thus reliance on petroleum completely. The hydrogen fuel cell essentially allows almost unlimited range, uses an infinitely renewable energy (fuel) source - hydrogen, and emits only water and heat. EVT is creating its own proprietary hydrogen fuel cell for power generation applications in all its vehicles and for use by other companies seeking to power their vehicles by alternative means.
