- After gaining a lot of practical experience from the development of a Golf 2 based electrical vehicle (1991) and from driving a City Stromer (a VW designed EV based on the Golf 3) and achieving the required theoretical background through his study Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Delft, Eddy decided to establish his own company, HEC Engineering (HEC hereafter). HEC has sold many components as well as turn-key drive systems for electric and hybrid vehicles ever since. As a respected business partner and friend, Victor plays an important roll in the history and present of Evisol.
