- Estrella Family Services is a non-profit agency located in San Jose that offers child care and youth services, as well as a wide range of services for the entire family through its Parent Services Project. Estrella's educational programs include a full day preschool and before and after school care for school-aged children. These consist of activities that are developmentally appropriate and based on individual needs of the child. Estrella Family Services serves two nutritious meals and one snack daily. We offer yearly on-site dental, hearing and vision screenings. Estrella Family Services strongly believes in family support and offers mental health services to families, as well as parenting activities, community service referrals and family outings such as camping trips. We serve children in our family child care homes and our centers at Gardner Academy, Galarza and River Glen Elementary Schools. Our Kids to Camp program sends over 600 low income youth to summer camp.
